Please come and join us for our dive club quiz night on Friday 26th January 2024.

Join us at the Dive Club Quiz Night in January

Cost is £2 per person with all proceeds going to the RNLI.

Bring a few friends and family to make a team, or join one on the night.

This is a regular quiz night, lots of different rounds, so be prepared for anything.

Bring your own sharing nibbles if you like.
Club opens at 7:00pm quiz starts at 7:30.

Limited to about 30 people as that is how many tables and chairs we can fit…

Please can you let us know if you can make it, if you are bringing a team (with numbers) or if you would like to be put in a team.

It was a long wait until we could get our Presentation evening back up and running, after a 2 year break our first one was held in June of 2022.

Congratulations to our divers who completed their courses. They had completed their PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver, Underwater Navigation, Deep Diver, PADI D.S.M.B Diver, Drysuit, PADI Equipment Specialist, E.F.R, PADI Master Scuba Diver and PADI DiveMaster courses, and came to receive their certification cards at our Presentation evening.

Thank you for all coming and thank you to our club members for joining us to congratulate our divers!!

Well done to everyone, you all worked hard to achieve your certifications. Congratulations!

There were lots of other divers who have completed courses that sadly couldn’t make it this week. Hopefully we will see you next time!

Thursday Evening Boat Dives

Dive the South Coast

Experience some local wrecks, shore and pier dives, there’s a lot to see out there.

THURSDAY EVENING DIVES

We have started the Dive Club Thursday Evening Boat Dives up again.

We will be going out of Brighton Marina onboard the lovely and spacious Channel Diving Channel Diving.

This is a lovely big boat with everything you could need, including the all important and much loved lift at the back of the boat for easy exits out of the water.

The evening dives we would be looking at getting away around 6-6.30pm

The boat goes with a minimum of 6 divers but we can carry a maximum of 12 divers.

Channel Diver

Evening wreck dive £40pp
Evening drift dive £30pp

Thursday 2nd (BH) – Drift Dive

Thursday 9th – Shallow Wreck or Brighton Pier or Drift Dive

Divers in sea Channel DIver

TO SECURE YOUR SPACE WE WILL NEED PAYMENT UP FRONT, IDEALLY CASH.
Please drop into the centre before hand to secure your space, however if you live too far away, call us up and give us card details to hold. You can then pay the skipper on the day of the dive, we will destroy the card details held after the dive. If you don’t turn up, we will pay the skipper for your space.

IF YOU CANNOT GO, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILL YOUR SPACE, WE CANNOT GIVE REFUNDS AS THE BOAT WILL HAVE HELD THE BOOKING FOR US.
Also if you dropping out means that the minimum number of divers is not 6, then the others lose out, which is not fun for anyone.

If you cannot go on the dive after securing the space, please find someone to take your space, if you cannot go and do not find a replacement, the space still needs to be paid for.

The above does not apply if the weather stops the boat from going out, the skipper makes the final call.

Kit hire extra as needed.

Ocean View Dive Club members get booking priority.

Please call or email the shop to book your space, your space is not secured until we have the cash, or card details.

All dives are subject to weather conditions.

Channel Diving other dates

We cannot book the boat on weekends for you, however please go onto the Channel Diving website, look at the schedule and see if there are dives you want to book onto directly with the boat. Please make sure you are booking dives you are trained to do in regards to depthe and certification and experience.

Cost: £1775 per person all inclusive

This fantastic itinerary takes in the stunning areas of the Southern Red Sea, including St. Johns, Fury Shoals, and…. if conditions allow we may be able to sail to the southernmost islands of Rocky and Zabargad.

With approximately 21 dives over the week. 12lt tank and weights are included in your package. Flights from Gatwick and transfers are included. Visas are also INCLUDED within this price as is the use of a day room at a hotel after the trip (1 room per three people) and Nitrox is free to those who are certified

If you would like to make a booking we will require a £750 (non-returnable) deposit per person to secure your space and full balance due 13 weeks prior to departure.

This restaurant is a bring your own restaurant, if you want beer/wine etc, bring your own, soft drinks however are to be purchased at the restaurant.

Join us for the first Quiz Night of the year, get the grey matter working and lets raise some money for the Lifeboats. If you have a team together, drop us an email to let us know who is in it, and your team name, or if you want to be put into a team.
