Swanage Dive Weekend May 2020

LET’S GO DIVING!

We are going for a Swanage Dive weekend over Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th May.

With the iconic pier dive as a must, and plenty of wreck or shore dives to do, the area around Swanage is fantastic for both new and seasoned divers.  We would be driving down on the Saturday morning with diving on both Saturday and Sunday, sadly coming back home on the Sunday evening after a great Swanage Dive weekend.

The boat is booked for 1 dive Saturday and 1 Dive on Sunday. Max depth will be 30m.

Due to tides the boat dives will be late mornings.
On the Saturday Ropes Off will be at 10:50, on the Sunday it will be 11:20.
This will allow plenty of time to travel down on the Saturday morning.
After each dive you can grab some lunch and then do a pier dive in the afternoon.

To confirm your space a cheque needs to be made out to Ocean View Diving for £56. The cheque will not be cashed until the dive goes ahead. Yes this is the amazing price that has been secured for each person for BOTH boat dives, not each dive! If you drop out once confirmed, you fill the space or lose the dosh! Get booking your accommodation!

This would be GREAT for new divers to get some UK experience.

If you aren’t ready to do the deeper wreck dive in the morning, you can still join us for the weekend to do the Pier dives, the pier can be dived at any time of the day, you can easily get two dives done under the pier, and of course when on holiday, cream teas and/or ice creams are compulsory!

To dive the pier there is a small fee of £1.50 per diver towards the Swanage Pier trust which goes back into the upkeep of the pier.

We are a PADI 5star IDC Centre in Sussex.

Learn to Scuba dive with a team of PADI trained staff. Ocean View Diving Services offer PADI Diving courses throughout the year. We can offer courses from beginner up to professional qualifications.

We have our own indoor pool on site, kept to a toasty 32 degrees. Our own on-site classroom, which means complete convenience for you, no back and forth to different locations for your training. We are a one-stop-shop for all of your needs.

Give it a try before committing to the full course. The Discover Scuba Diving session provides a fantastic experience, and also provides a solid basis for all PADI training and education.

You will be with us in the centre for a total of an hour, during this time we will go over the necessary paperwork, tell you about the equipment you will be using, explain some safety information, then get you in the pool for some fun and excitement breathing underwater.

Furthermore, we organise and run diving trips to some of the most amazing diving destinations.

Once you learn to scuba dive, you will be wanting to get as much time under the water enjoying this new sport. For us here at Ocean View it has become our passion.

We can give you the opportunity to experience some awesome diving on our UK dive trips. Or if you prefer the blue water, you can experience some fantastic encounters on one of our amazing diving holidays abroad.

PADI TecRec Gas Blender Course 28th March 2020

We will be running the PADI TecRec Gas Blender course on Saturday 28th March 2020.

More people are diving with enriched air. The Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular PADI Specialty course, this means the demand for enriched air fills is increasing.

However, there needs to be someone qualified to administer these fills to meet this demand. This is where the PADI Gas Blender course comes in. The PADI TecRec Gas Blender course will give the ability to deliver these fills to your customers.

It can result in one of two certifications: PADI Gas Blender or PADI Trimix Blender.

This fantastic itinerary takes in the stunning areas of the Southern Red Sea, including St. Johns, Fury Shoals, and…. if conditions allow we may be able to sail to the southernmost islands of Rocky and Zabargad.

With approximately 21 dives over the week. 12lt tank and weights are included in your package. Flights from Gatwick and transfers are included. Visas are also INCLUDED within this price as is the use of a day room at a hotel after the trip (1 room per three people) and Nitrox is free to those who are certified
