We will be running the PADI Underwater Navigator Diver course on Sunday 10th July 2022.
It can be quite stressful in poor visibility underwater, improve your observation skills and learn more accurately how to use your compass underwater to find your way.
You will develop the techniques involved in navigating underwater within recreational limits while avoiding disturbing delicate marine life.
Build your confidence, save air and save energy.
We recommend taking the Navigation course before embarking on the Rescue course, it helps greatly with search patterns.
You will need to do a small amount of home study before the course, this is all now done with the digital PADI home study eLearning material. You don’t need to come to the shop to get the course arranged and access your digital home study, this part of the course can all be arranged via email, of course we are more than happy to see you if you prefer to pop into the shop, we will then send you the code for your home study, with instructions how to do this.
You will need to fill out a short Medical Questionnaire before any in water sessions, if you have had Covid, advice from local dive doctors is to stay out of the water for 30 days from first diagnosis, if you have no problems, after 30 days we can revisit the medical form and go from there, however if you have complications, see a doctor.
The water temperature in July is usually around 16 degrees for your thermal protection information, at this time of year you can use either a Drysuit or a wetsuit, it is your decision.
