All courses currently being advertised are subject to us being open as per the restriction easing update announced on 22nd February.
Take the next step on from your Open Water course, move forward with PADI Advanced Open Water certification.
Whilst we are at NDAC on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July, we will be running the Deep Dive and Wreck Dive to complete your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.
We are running the first part of the Advanced course on Sunday 9th May.
We will be doing the Deep Dive, and the Wreck Dive towards your Advanced certification.
Going on deeper dives (upto 30m on the Advanced course) involves more planning and careful monitoring, do this safely with our team to ensure you get the best form the dive in a safe manner. Your fist twirl around a wreck will be a careful watchful experience, where yui learn to look for points of interest, hazard points, potential points of entry for when you are fully Wreck trained. This will certainly get you on your way to investigating wrecks, and maybe moving onto the Wreck Specialty
You will need to do a small amount of home study before the course, this is all now done with the digital PADI home study eLearning material. You don’t need to come to the shop to get the course arranged and access your digital home study, this part of the course can all be arranged via email, we can do all of this whilst the shop is still closed to the public as per current regulations, the course can be paid for via BACS, we will then send you the code for your home study, with instructions how to do this.
The water temperature in July at depth is usually around 7-8 degrees for thermal protection information, we recommend you are comfortable in a drysuit to do these dives, or have done your course with us in May to get a few dives in before hand, if you choose to do this in a wetsuit, please know you need to make sure it is thick enough for the temperature at depth, and you WILL need hood and gloves.
