Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty of the Month 2018

As part of our PADI Specialty of the Month programme in 2018, we will be running the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Course on Sunday 27th May.

Neutral Buoyancy is the key to calm, relaxing enjoyable dives.

Mastering neutral buoyancy means controlling where you are in the water, you glide effortlessly over coral reefs, taking in the beautiful aquatic life whilst ensuring that you don’t disturb or damage it. Buoyancy control means longer dive time due to reduced air consumption.

If a member of your family was taken ill, or a fellow diver had an emergency, you will be able to step up and help them, knowing you can help those you care about is a reassuring feeling. This course is open to anyone, you don’t need to be a diver to need First Aid skills.

As a pre-requisite to the Rescue Diver course, you need a valid First Aid certification, taken within the last 24 months, the Emergency First Response course meets the necessary First Aid training required as part of the PADI Rescue Diver course.

If you are a rescue diver who’s First Aid course was over 2 years ago, you will need to do an update, so why not join us on the next E.F.R course.

PADI Deep and Wreck Specialties Weekend 29th June -1st July 2018 at N.D.A.C

Posted on January 20, 2018

NDAC JUNE JULY 2018

Friday 29th and Saturday 30th to Sunday 1st July 2018

Do you want to feel more comfortable at depth, do you enjoy the idea of visiting wrecks taking in the history and scenery?

We are planning to run a weekend at N.D.A.C from Friday 29th June – Sunday 1st July, if you would like to join us for either the Deep or Wreck Specialty courses, give us a call to discuss your requirements, and book your places.

If you wish to take both the deep and wreck course you will need to be with us for three days, meaning we will start the dives on Friday, but only if you are doing both courses. If you want to take only one of the courses you will need to be available for the Saturday and Sunday, we start early so best to get up there the night before.

N.D.A.C – The National Diving and Activity Centre – at Chepstow is the perfect place to take these specialty courses. There are lots of wrecks to learn on, with lots of interesting places to explore on your deep dives. Both the Deep and Wreck specialty courses require four dives each, which need to be spread out over two days, so we stay up for the weekend, to make the most of your time up there.

PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course March 2018

Posted on January 2, 2018

Enriched Air Nitrox March 2018

As part of our PADI Specialty of the Month programme in 2018, we will be running the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course in March.

The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

We all want to stay longer on that reef or wreck, it isn’t always our breathing rate that brings us up before we want to, often we still have plenty of air left but our No Decompression Limit (NDL) brings us back up.
