It was a warm night at the club and a number of the students we had assisted on their Open Water courses in May were there. It was great to catch up and hear about what diving they had done since qualifying and discuss what they planned to do next.
There was lots of excited chat around the weekends planned club trip to Swanage and the weather forecast. It was looking good so hopefully would go ahead this time. Watch the OV blog for the write up!
The call went out and we mustered in the classroom ready for the presentation to begin. One by one each diver was congratulated and given their cert card which was accompanied by the usual general banter and applause from the audience.

As is the tradition those who had been recognised for their achievements got to start on the buffet first. Sandwiches munched and glasses refilled the conversation returned to Swanage and the other planned club trips to Truk Lagoon and Scapa Flow!
