PADI IDC Staff Instructor

As a seasoned PADI Instructor, you have wisdom and experience to share with up-and-coming PADI leaders, and, you know that continuing your education never ends.
As an Instructor Development Course (IDC) Staff Instructor, you help bring up the next generation of PADI Instructors while gaining in-depth instructor-trainer knowledge. Staff Instructors are an important part of the team during the IDC course, you are there to help the Course Director and to help the Instructor candidates, your support can be invaluable!
After a preassessment of your instructor-level knowledge of dive theory, exemplary dive skills and role-model presentation techniques, you’ll participate in these sessions:
- Instructor development standards, procedures and curriculum
- How to organize and conduct the PADI Assistant Instructor course
- The psychology of evaluation and counseling
- Evaluating knowledge development, confined water and open water teaching presentations
Plus, you’ll get to audit an IDC or practice teaching many curriculum components.
